Marthinsen & Duvholt is a reliable contractor with robust systems in place to meet customer requirements. Our commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability is documented and verified through our ISO certifications.

ISO 9001

At MD, improving together is both a core value and a commitment that guides our continuous improvement efforts.

Our ISO 9001 certification confirms that we have strong systems to ensure our projects meet customer needs and expectations. We work continuously to enhance these systems so we can deliver top-quality results and achieve high customer satisfaction.

ISO 45001

At MD, the safety of our employees is our highest priority. Our ISO 45001 certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to creating an injury‑free workplace. Over many years, we have built a strong safety culture based on values, attitudes, and behaviours that promote safety across all aspects of our projects.

We work systematically with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) to maintain a safe and healthy working environment. Our HSE initiatives include injury and illness prevention, promoting a healthy work–life balance, and continuous improvement through our Working Environment Committee (AMU).

Collaboration with Occupational Health Services (BHT) ensures we have access to essential health expertise and advisory support, reinforcing the wellbeing of our employees.

Our goal is an injury‑free workplace. We ensure all employees are informed and equipped to identify and manage potential hazards. We work safely — or not at all — and we take pride in our efforts to protect our people and the communities around us.

ISO 14001

We strive to be bold, explorative, and engaged in developing sustainable solutions. ISO 14001 provides a framework for effective environmental management, and the certification confirms that we have implemented energy‑efficient measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

BREEAM NOR Manual

The Norwegian Green Building Council has developed a Norwegian adaptation of the international BREEAM New Construction manual, known as BREEAM‑NOR.

This version is tailored to Norwegian construction practices, climate, legislation, and local conditions. Such adaptation ensures a more relevant and accurate assessment of a building’s performance.
