Mass excavation and earthmoving are integral components of all our projects at Marthinsen & Duvholt. While we manage this work to varying degrees across assignments, some projects involve a particularly extensive scope of earthmoving operations.
An example of such a project is the Google site, where we carried out substantial earth excavation to prepare the area for future development. This project highlights our ability to manage large volumes efficiently and safely.
Land alteration is a significant environmental consideration, and it is an area of strong focus at Marthinsen & Duvholt. Earthmoving often involves extensive land disturbances, and where possible, we compensate for this through nature‑restoration initiatives such as reinstating green areas and relocating or re‑establishing wetlands and pond environments.
These measures help reduce the environmental impact of our projects and contribute to improving the local ecosystem.
Our expertise in mass excavation and earthmoving also plays a crucial role in many other assignments, from groundwork for new infrastructure developments to the establishment of excavation pits in urban environments. We place great emphasis on safety and meticulous planning to ensure that every stage of the process is carried out to the highest standard.
We are happy to answer any questions or discuss the projects and experience we have built over 25 years as a contractor.
